tonite i will be dj'ing a show with pep torres, who is being referred to as "the new ritchie valens." also on the bill are the lustre kings, who have been a backing band to several notable artists including the one and only queen of rockabilly, wanda jackson. should be a fun time!
playing music for people is the best job in the world! sometimes i get paid to dj, but sometimes i just do it for fun. its only a bonus if the end result is me going home with a little gas money in my pocket. i can't tell you what an amazing feeling it is to watch a room full of people dancing to the tunes you're spinning :)
