everything happens for a reason

this is strange.

recently, i was going back through my written journal from last year. i have been keeping one since 1997 and i make sure to write in it daily before i go to sleep.

exactly one year ago today, i wrote: "i am lonely."

exactly one year ago tomorrow, i met josh.

(well, technically "re-met" i guess...but the first time didn't really count. ha. this was the start of us becoming inseparable. one of the first entries i wrote in this blog back in january tells the whole story of how we met, in case anyone is curious).

as i laid in bed with a heavy heart, notebook in hand, i had no way of knowing that he was about to come back into my life and be everything i was waiting for.



life is funny sometimes, dontcha think?
