here's a little something you might not have known about her: not only was she sweet enough to help me tweak my blog so it isn't so ugly it makes me want to puke anymore...but she can also turn your favorite cat into a pair of earrings! wait, that didn't sound right, did it? she is not some creepy cave dweller who lives in the middle of the woods and skins stray cats to make delightful jewelry out of them. i promise. don't believe me? as you can see, i have a new background. i never even thought to use one of my own photographs to liven things up a little. i decided to go with THE MUMMIES since it was and still is one of the highlights of my rock'n'roll career. actually, it probably IS the ultimate. it has been the pinnacle of my 27 years!
*NOTE* i have always been a rocker. case in point:
here is a video i took from when i saw the mummies, just in case you don't understand what i'm going on and on about. keep in mind they had been broken up for something like 10 years when this took place. lucky me!

ReplyDeletePS One of my favorite bands is Clinic from Liverpool. Nothing like the Beatles, more like the antithesis of the Beatles (though I love them too 'cause I'm an oldies girl). Anyhow, they wear surgical masks, sometimes with full scrubs or Hawaiian shirts, the occasional top hat. I've seen them live in Seattle 4 or 5 times and it's a rare treat when they come to town!
